Matti's story starts in Lapland, at the foot of the fells. He grew up in a place where silence teaches you to listen and where work is done properly. Those roots show today in how he produces videos and podcasts — calmly, deliberately, and with results that look and sound professional.
When Matti began producing content for businesses, he quickly noticed one thing. Most clients did not want to make videos or podcasts themselves. They had tried and found out how much time and energy it takes — how many things need to be figured out alone, and how easily the technical side distracts from the actual work. They were not looking for a new hobby or a new skill. They wanted a reliable professional to take care of it for them.
This was not a big problem — it was a very clear need. People wanted a calm, systematic process. A schedule that holds. Shoots with clear direction. Editing that looks finished right away. Content that works when it is published. And someone they can trust without having to oversee every step themselves.
Matti's own journey started with snowboarding videos back in 2002. Friends and acquaintances began asking for help and the work grew naturally. In 2020 he registered as a sole trader, and two years later founded Reindeer Cowboy Productions Oy together with his wife Elina.
The company name reflects two sides of Matti's world — the tranquillity of Lapland and the courage to just do it. You can see them in how Reindeer Cowboy works: no complicated production jargon, no unnecessary stress. Just a clear process and good work that moves steadily from start to finish.
